The John Curtin Research Centre (JCRC) is a social democratic think-tank dedicated to developing ideas and policies for a better, fairer Australia.
Established in honour of John Curtin, a pivotal political figure in Australian history, the centre seeks to embody his values and vision. John Curtin served as the 14th Prime Minister of Australia during World War Two and is widely regarded as one of the country’s most influential leaders.
By naming the research centre after him, the JCRC pays tribute to his significant contributions and aims to carry forward his legacy by championing progressive policies that address the challenges and aspirations of contemporary Australia.
